I enjoyed the book but it's time Bill and his roommates show more character development. I've read other books where the main character is a lovesick loser facing impossible odds but they evolved as their book series went on. Bill is still the same insecure, incompetent nice guy chump even though he's been through earth shattering experiences which should have changed him for the better. The supporting characters on the other hand have shown tremendous character development and if Bill and his roommates were killed off, I would have no problem following the series with the supporting characters becoming the leads!
